Gregory J. Castiglia, MD
 
 
 

Dr. Castiglia is a Board Certified neurosurgeon. He received his BA in physics at Dartmouth College and his Medical Doctorate from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University in 1992. He completed his neurosurgical residency in 1999 at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Castiglia has a focus in the treatment of disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Among the problems that he treats are: herniated disk, degenerative disk, spinal stenosis, facet syndromes, spinal infections and tumors. As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Castiglia also treats intracranial pathology as well as peripheral nerve compressive problems including carpal tunnel. Dr. Castiglia is on staff at the hospitals of the Catholic Health System and Kaleida as well as Niagara Falls Memorial. Additionally, he is on staff at Erie County Medical Center with an expertise in neurosurgical trauma.
