Douglas B. Moreland, MD, FACS
 
 
 

Dr. Moreland is a Board Certified neurosurgeon. He received his BA in biology at the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 and his Medical Doctorate from the University at Buffalo in 1984. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University at Buffalo in 1990. Dr. Moreland is the Director of Buffalo Neurosurgery Group and Chief of Neurosurgery at Sisters Hospital. Among the disorders that he treats in the spine are: herniated disk, degenerative disk, spinal stenosis, facet syndromes, spinal infections, and tumors. Dr. Moreland treats intracranial pathology with open surgical procedures as well as with the Gamma Knife. He treats peripheral nerve compressive problems including carpal tunnel as well.
